We are a mobile caravan servicing and repair company conveniently located near Bristol, Taunton and Weston-Super-Mare. We have more than 25 years’ experience in the caravan industry and are trained in caravan maintenance repairs and have a nationally recognised gas qualification.

Full Service Caravans
Our Annual Warranty Service is mandatory for new caravans and motorhomes and is also important in maintaining the value and appearance of any leisure vehicle and ensuring that, as responsible caravaners, your vans are legal and safe.
The full service is an extremely thorough check that includes more than 60 points to be checked and reported on. It includes all items on the chassis, habitation and appliances. A full service report sheet will be supplied with the service, outlining all the checks.

Chassis Service Caravans
We realise that not everyone wants or needs a full service. A Chassis Service is a popular option for caravans that have been sitting on the same site all summer and the owner wishes to return it to storage for the winter.
It covers the following items:
- 12N and 12S / 13 pin cables and plugs
- All external lights
- Bodywork, trims and seals
- Brakes cleaned and adjusted
- Breakaway cable and clip
- Chassis condition and attachment
- Corner steadies
- Coupling: including pads and safety device checked and adjusted

Habitation Service Caravans and Motorhomes
A habitation check is mainly used for Motorhomes, but also on touring caravans that are permanently based on a sited pitch with no intention of moving or towing the caravan.
It includes the following:
- Cooker, hobs, grill and flame-failure devices
- Electrics, 240 volt and 12 volt including battery test
- Fire extinguisher, smoke alarm / CO alarm
- Floor delamination check
- Fly-screens and blinds
- Fridge checked and carbon-monoxide test
- Full damp report
- Gas system pipework and regulator
- Internal door locks, hinges and catches
- Ventilation, roof lights, flues etc.
- Water heater and space heater
- Water system, pumps and taps
- Window-seals, stays and catches
Caravan, motorhome or horsebox. £170 inclusive* (NO CALL OUT FEE)

Emergency Call outs
Call out fee £50.00 inclusive of first half hour from leaving our base in Cheddar Somerset, then £45.00 per hour excluding parts.
Sunday call outs are at time and a half

Alde anti freeze fluid change
Blue Sky Caravans are approved by Alde UK, this means we can carry out work on your Alde caravan or motorhome heating system without invalidating your warranty.
Alde heating systems in the UK come with a 50/50 mix of water and ethylene glycol antifreeze mix.
Normally (but not all) the system is filled with antifreeze that has a two year life, as such the system should be drained and refilled with the correct fluid mix biannually to carry on protecting your heating system. This can be carried out by us, BUT we refill your heating system with 5 year antifreeze, this makes the drain down and refill more economical for you.
Long life antifreeze is available and this will protect your Alde heating for up to 5 years and can be used when filling after a drain down
It is important not to mix the long life 5 year and 2 year antifreeze in your heating system, or Silicate and non-Silicate antifreeze.
Blue Sky Caravans has the ALDE service pump, this will enable us to refill your heating system or bleed it with ease and without the need of lengthy bleeding, as the pump forces the fluid round the system to expel the air.
Does your Alde heating system not get hot all the way round, or not heat up at all? The chances are your Alde system has an air lock, we can cure this with the Alde Service pump.
A newly filled Alde system will normally require topping up after it is used, as some small air bubbles can remain in the system, this is normal and should clear by itself
